More About Anders

When life becomes too stressful, it is natural to feel like giving up. However, I believe that the hardships we face are often the beginning of healing and transformation, rather than the conclusion. I am dedicated to understanding your emotional predicaments and journeying with you on the road to recovery so that you can realize the strength and hope that resides within you.

I view emotional turmoil—such as anxiety and depression—primarily through the lens of disconnected relationships. I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as my fundamental modality to help families, couples, and individuals reestablish fulfilling connections. Rather than "pathologizing" your distress, I employ a holistic perspective that takes into account your emotions, cognitions, behaviors, family of origin, and even the role of religion and spirituality in your life.

Throughout my professional journey, I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and families across numerous specialized programs. My integrative approach is informed by Family Systems Theory, Attachment Theory, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). As an ADHD Specialist, I provide expert support for neurodiverse individuals, helping you navigate behavioral challenges and self-worth concerns with practical, brain-based strategies.

As a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, I am also deeply passionate about helping couples build resilient foundations. Whether you are navigating a difficult life transition or seeking to heal long-standing wounds, I offer a warm, client-centered space where your story is heard and your strengths are celebrated.

Something about me: I believe that sometimes life is so difficult that the only way out is to take the next step. I am committed to being there to meet you when you decide to take that step. I strive to bring a calm, supportive presence to our sessions, helping you bridge cultural and generational gaps within your household to find lasting peace.
