More About Clare
Have you ever been told to “just don’t think too much” or that “you’re being too sensitive”? I understand this experience intimately. Growing up in environments where logic reigns supreme and emotional expression is often discouraged, I witnessed how many of us learn to suppress our feelings just to fit in. I recognize that while this "emotional silence" may be a survival habit, it often leads to numbness, distress, and a heavy sense of being unheard.
My mission is to be a compassionate companion on your journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth. I am dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where your thoughts and feelings are finally validated. Utilizing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I help you gain clarity on your internal emotional cycles. By understanding how these cycles affect your patterns of interaction—with yourself, others, and your surroundings—I help you move toward forming new, positive experiences.
I am particularly passionate about helping Teens and Young Adults navigate the "middle ground" of cross-cultural identities and intergenerational conflicts. Whether you are struggling with the weight of cultural expectations or feeling disconnected from those around you, I will walk alongside you to bridge the gap between your inner world and your daily life.
Something about me: I understand that the journey of life can be intimidating and rough, and I believe no one should have to walk it alone. I strive to bring a gentle, validating "vibe" to our sessions, specifically helping those who have felt marginalized or silenced in their personal lives. I deeply value the process of turning emotional dysregulation into emotional resilience and would be honored to support you in finally finding your voice.
